A Time to Heal was proudly founded in Omaha, Nebraska and currently offers these programs in the Omaha area:

    2018 Holistic Wellness Recovery Programs in Omaha, NE

    For cancer patients and their caregivers, this research-based weekly class meets for 12 weeks. Our focus is on survivorship, wellness and relaxation. This 12-week program is normally offered in Omaha in the Fall and the Spring., with both a daytime and an evening offering.

    Classes are held at various locations. Classes in 2019 are scheduled for:

    * February 11th through April 29th - evening classes held at First United Methodist Church - online registration will begin soon.
    * April 22nd through July 8th - daytime class, place to be determined - online registration will begin soon.
    * September 9th through November 25th - evening classes held at First United Methodist Church
    * September 10th through November 26th - daytime class, place to be determined

  • Is this Class Right for You?

    This 12-week class is for cancer survivors who have completed treatment and/or are well enough to attend 12 weeks of 2-hour classes. Family or friend caregivers are welcome to also register. These survivorship classes help cancer survivors and caregivers build skills to deal with fear of recurrence, relationship changes, nutrition, exercise, learning to relax and finding happiness. Attendance at all 12 weeks is strongly encouraged; while occasional schedule conflicts are understandable, registration is intended for those who expect to complete all 12 sessions.

    Comforting Myself - Learning to relax
    Moving Forward in the Face of Fear - Coping with fear in a productive way

    Happiness Is... Rebuilding a happy life

    Two groups are available: Tuesday groups are for Men and Women, Survivors and Caregivers; Wednesday groups are for Women survivors only.

  • The 5th Annual Art of Living Beyond Cancer Conference

    The 2019 Art of Living Beyond Cancer Conference features keynote speaker Scott Hamilton - Olympic Gold Medalist, cancer survivor, author and founder of educational cancer survivorship programs! It will be held on Saturday, April 13th.
    Registration for the conference will begin February 1st.

    Our 5th annual "Art of Living Beyond Cancer" will be a 2-day celebration with 2 events!
    - a Corporate Luncheon on Friday, April 12th
    - the Survivorship conference on Saturday, April 13th.
