The Art of Living Beyond Cancer Conference is coming – SAVE THE DATE!

Mark your calendars now for Saturday, August 29, when the A Time To Heal Cancer Foundation will host its 6 th annual Art of Living Beyond Cancer Conference at UNO’s Scott Conference Center. The conference hours will be 8:30am – 1:00pm.

Our half-day conference is open to cancer survivors, caregivers, family members and professionals. This year we present our keynote speaker Amy Camie, a certified Clinical Musician and Harpist. Her inspirational music is calming, relaxing, and restorative as it gently soothes the soul. She works with people from all walks of life in many different situations, including those fighting cancer, to reduce stress and anxiety while restoring emotional wellness, strength and peace. You can learn more about Amy and her work at www.amycamie.com.

Additionally, the conference will offer a wide variety of informative, evidence-based break-out sessions that focus on topics such as acupuncture, functional medicine, emotional resilience, nutrition and palliative care/advanced directives as well as other topics. You may want to come early to enjoy the always popular book bazar and vendor fair, doors open at 7:30am. A light breakfast and boxed lunch will be provided.

We encourage any cancer survivor to attend along with their family members and other caregivers. For medical professionals, the conference offers continuing education (CE) hours as well as afternoon professional workshops on Palliative Care, Compassion Fatigue, and Ethics.

We will let you know the minute our website opens for registration. And you’ll want to do that quickly as this event sells out. We wish you wellness and peace and we look forward to seeing you on a day filled with hope, help and how-tos!
